In her words

I came to aesthetics from midwifery, and a great deal of how I work came with me.

Oatley Medical Aesthetics was previously known as Allure Aesthetics Wales.

Consent that is genuinely informed. Time taken before anything begins. And an honest answer when the honest answer is no.

A prescriber is trained to decide whether a treatment should happen — not only whether it can.

That distinction matters more than anything else on this page. If something is not right for you, or the timing is wrong, I will say so — and I would rather lose the booking than get that wrong.

Every consultation starts with what is actually bothering you, rather than a list of what I could sell. Sometimes the answer is a treatment. Sometimes it is a smaller treatment than you came in for. Occasionally it is nothing at all.

How I work

Three things that do not change.

01

Consultation first

Nothing is carried out on the day unless it is genuinely right for you. If that means you leave without a treatment, that is a good outcome — not a failed appointment.

02

Prescriber-led throughout

Prescription-only medicines are assessed and prescribed by me, in person, at consultation. There is no separate prescriber signing off remotely and no one else making that judgement on your behalf.

03

No hand-offs

One practitioner across every clinic. The person who assesses you is the person who treats you, and the person you contact afterwards.

Next step

Come and have a conversation.

You do not need to know what you want before you arrive. Most people come with a concern rather than a treatment in mind — and there is no obligation to book anything on the day.
